How do I manually uninstall your software?
If for some reason you need to manually uninstall our software, follow the
procedure below. Note that some steps will refer to files that do not
exist for your particular installation depending on the options you selected
during installation...
- Delete All Files from the following folders, including subfolders...
"C:\Iocomp\Product"
"C:\Program Files\Iocomp"
"C:\Program
Files\Iocomp Instrumentation Components Setup"
- Delete the following individual files from your Windows System
Directory...
isAnalogLibrary.*
isDigitalLibrary.*
iProfessionalLibrary.*
iPlotLibrary.*
iStripChartXControl.*
- Delete the following registry key folders...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Iocomp
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{b41d5821-ea46-11d3-80f2-0050bad1675f}
- If you are using Borland Delphi or Borland C++ Builder, you will need to
manually remove the packages from the Borland development IDE by opening
Delphi or C++ Builder, clicking on the the "Component/Install Packages..."
menu, selecting our packages, and clicking on the REMOVE button. You
will also need to manually delete any package files that begin with "Iocomp"
that are located under the "C:\Program
Files\Borland" folders and sub-folders.
- Delete any Iocomp ActiveX files that you many have manually registered on
your system or copied to directories other than our defaults.
You can also use our Uninstaller Utility which will completely remove our
components and installers from your system. You can download the file from
our Misc Downloads Section of our website.
