This is a rare known bug with our initial release Iocomp Components 2.0.0 products (Instrumentation Pack Std and Instrumentation Pack Pro). This issue has already been fixed in further released versions, including our CD-ROM installer, released after January 23, 2001.
Symptom: Visual Basic 5 or 6 crashes when using theme Panel. The crash occurs
after clicking on a different property editor tab or hitting the APPLY button.
Cause: There is a bug in our Theme Panel with respect to using Windows API controls
in property editors under Windows 95/98. This is not an issue under Windows NT/2000,
and is a design-time-only issue.
Work-Around: After using theme panel in Visual Basic, press the OK button to apply
your changes and close the property editor instead of using the APPLY button.
Resolution: This is expected to be fixed in our Version 2.0.4 Service Pack 2 release when available. Check our latest updates section.
